Founded in 1980 by Mr. J.B. Wong, Cristofori Group of Music Companies is a fully Singaporean-owned organization. Today, Cristofori is one of Singapore’s leading music schools, with 38 outlets and more than 500 dedicated music teachers. We have inspired over 300,000 students through quality music education, enriching performance opportunities, and a holistic learning experience.
Cristofori Music is also the largest piano retailer in Singapore and the exclusive distributor of world-renowned piano brands such as C. Bechstein, Seiler, Petrof, Pearl River, Ritmüller, Kayserburg, Sandner, Toyo-Apollo, Suzuki, Asahi, Fujiyama, Knabe, and more. We are committed to providing high-quality instruments for musicians of all levels.
In addition, Cristofori works closely with globally renowned EMI & SMI partners, including Casio, Amazon, Flykeys, Nux, and Medeli (Digital Pianos); Alhambra, Raimundo, GAEA, Epiphone, Asahi, Greg Bennett, Pearl River, and Aeroband (Guitars); Bella, Brilliant, Passione, Popolare (Violins); Aroma, Muza, Nux (Drum Sets), and others.
Our comprehensive music education programmes include RSL Classical, Rockschool Contemporary, ABRSM Classical and many more. We cater to learners in the A.I. era, nurturing well-rounded musicians and individuals capable of excelling in any profession. At Cristofori, we believe in promoting music as a universal language.
1980
Cristofori Music opened its first Piano Technological Centre at Joo Chiat Road East Coast Area of Singapore, specialising in piano repair and servicing. In the same year, we launched our first CRISTOFORI pianos (P-4C and PC-5C), marking the beginning of our mission to make quality musical instruments and music education accessible to all.
2000
With over 20 music schools across major heartland malls, Cristofori became Singapore’s first homegrown heritage music company. We served over 16,000 students’ strength, establishing a strong presence in the local music landscape.
2010
Cristofori expanded to more than 30 music schools with over 16,000 students enrolled. The CRISTOFORI brand became a trusted symbol of musical excellence, affordability, and accessibility for families across Singapore.
2020
Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, we are able to conduct online lessons, and successfully developed e-commerce. We grow our business constantly.
Today
With 38 centres islandwide, Cristofori continues to uphold its founding vision—to make quality pianos, music education, and musical opportunities available to everyone. We remain committed to nurturing future generations of musicians and fostering a vibrant, inclusive music culture in Singapore and beyond.
