Will all lessons resume on 19 June?
All courses will resume, except:
- Vocal lessons will continue online.
- Preschool Music Academia (PMA 1 & 2) will resume in September at the earliest.

Will there be a change in CMS calendar 2020?
Yes there will be a slight change.
From 19 June to 27 December, our school will open on all public holidays and school holidays to provide more options for your make up lessons.
If you prefer a normal progress this year, and don’t wish to slow down in your musical journey, we will work with you to fit your uncompleted Term 2 lessons into the period from July to December.

What safety measures will be in place?
Majority of our students attend individual lessons. This is much safer than attending lessons in classes of 20 or 30 students in school.
We apply the following 4 measures to all who enter our school premises, including students, teachers, staff, and walk-in customers. Our appointed Safe Management Officer will turn away anyone who does not meet the criteria.
Parents and helpers are requested to wait for the students outside the school premises.
1st measure: Before entry.
Temperature-taking: to be below 38 degree Celsius. Visual screening to be without flu symptoms such as cough and runny nose. Face masks to be worn. Teachers and students age 12 and below may wear face shields. Use SafeEntry to check-in and check-out.
2nd measure: Declaration.
SafeEntry: by checking in, you declare that
- You have not had close contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case in the past 14 days.
- You are not currently under a Quarantine Order or Stay-Home Notice.
- You do not have any fever or flu-like symptoms.
We urge everyone to exercise social responsibility and declare truthfully.
3rd measure: Maintain good personal hygiene.
Students to wash hands with soap before the lesson. Teachers will sanitise the shared instruments regularly throughout the day.
4th measure: Safe Distancing

Will there be any discount for online lessons?
Currently, there is no discount for online lessons. We offer the following additional services at no added cost:
- Practice videos: After every online lesson, students are encouraged to send practice videos to our staff for our teachers’ guidance. This will ensure that students will practice in the right way at home and progress more effectively. Encouragements from our staff and teachers through the practice videos will also spur them on to practice regularly.
- Marathon Practice Challenge (MPC): We have launched MPC since April to encourage students to practice daily at home and send the videos to us. Students who complete 20, 30, 40 or 50 days will receive a $20, $30, $40 or $50 voucher as a recognition.

I have joined MPC. When will the results of the Outstanding awards be announced?
By 30 June, we will inform the selected students who win the Outstanding award of a $100 voucher if they complete a 20-day marathon, or a $200 voucher if they complete a 50-day marathon.
Criteria of outstanding students: those who complete the challenge, show improvements and good spirits.
All other students who complete 20, 30, 40 or 50 days will receive a $20, $30, $40 or $50 voucher as a recognition.
I have not joined MPC. May I join it now?
