TERMS & CONDITIONS OF FREE DIGITAL PIANO RENTAL

1. 1. Rental Period
      The instrument will be rented at no charge for a period of 3 or 6 months form the date of delivery. The instrument will remain as the property of CRISTOFORI Music throughout the rental period.

1. 2. Delivery and Collection
      CRISTOFORI will arrange for the delivery and return of the digital piano at a standard transportation charge:
      Digital Piano: $80

1. 3. Purpose of Rental
      The Instrument is provided as a free rental instrument to benefit CRISTOFORI Music School student to have an instrument for practice at home or continue their online home-based learning with CRISTOFORI with
      1. Term 2 (3 months) school fees paid; OR
      2. Term 2 & Term 3 (6 Months) school fees paid; OR
      3. Term 2, Term 3 & Term 4 (9 Months) school fees paid.

1. 4. Provision of Technical Assistance
      1. To keep the instrument in his/her possession and control, and ensure that it is secured against loss, damage and theft.
      2. We will provide technical assistance throughout your possession of the piano that you encounter technical difficulty . However please note that we will suspend all onsite technical or inspection service during the circuit-breaker period.
      3. Customer who encounter any technical difficulty with their product can seek assistance by getting in touch with our customer service personnel available 7 days a week or wait for service to be resumed after 4 May 2020.
      4. Rest assured that based on the stability of our product quality, most of the technical issues, if any, is minor can be resolved via remote troubleshooting procedures which we will guide you through telephone or video call.

       

1. 5. Borrower’s Responsibilities
      1. To keep the instrument in his/her possession and control, and ensure that it is secured against loss, damage and theft.
      2. To operate the instrument in accordance with the User’s manual
      3. To keep it in good working order, fair wear and tear accepted.
      4. To ensure the serial no, rental labels are not removed, detached or altered.
      5. Instrument cannot be modified, shifted or maintain by unauthorized personnel in any circumstances.
      6. The instrument shall remain in the possession of the borrower during the rental period and shall not assign, transfer or rent the instrument to others.
      7. The use of the instrument is done entirely at the borrower’s own risk and he/she is fully responsible for any accidents arising form the use of the instrument.
      8. No pasting of stickers is allowed on the piano.
      9. Do not place treated /heavy object on the piano.

       

1. 6. Loss or damage
      1. Borrower is liable for any damage or loss of instrument during the rental period.
      2. If your piano proves to be defective in workmanship or material under normal usage, repair and replacement of parts are free of charge. In the event CRISTOFORI determines that the defect cannot be repaired, CRISTOFORI will replace the defective piano with the same or comparable model in terms of quality, price and age.CRISTOFORI MUSIC PTE LTD reserves the right to make final judgments regarding the existence and nature of any defects.

1. 7. Additional Accessories
      For additional accessories e.g. headphones, sustain pedal, etc. Borrower may purchase at their own cost.

1. 8. Return of Piano
      The return of piano will be done within 30 days from the date of expiry. Extension of rental is chargeable. Please get in touch with our friendly school staff for any extension request.
